Grit, Grace, and Feral in the Great Outdoors

Stories from the woods. Lessons in the quiet. Truth found in self-reliance.

Welcome. This isn’t a highlight reel or a how-to manual. This is where muddy boots, early mornings, missed shots, full freezers, empty hands, and honest reflections dance from my memories.

Out here, the woods have a way of stripping things down – pride, fear, noise–expectations. What left is grit, sprinkled with grace and little bit of feral freedom you didn’t know you were missing.

This blog is a collection of real hunting stories, MY stories…before and after the shot…lessons learned the hard way… the quiet beauty found in the spaces most people never slow down enough to notice.

About the author

Angela

I’m a mother, wife, hunter, storyteller, over-comer, and a woman of faith. I’ve been shaped by the hurts of my past and by the strength God gave me to overcome them.

Entering the woods for the first time at 45, drew out a resilience in me…calling to the broken girl I once was. It’s taught me to become something more, through self-reliance and trusting in the Lord’s ultimate plan.

I hope my stories meet you where you are and stir something within you… a call to the wild places, honest reflections, and the truths they offer.

Journey with me….
